AIM Updating Insured Name and Address in AIM

Changing the Insured’s Name in AIM can only be changed on the Master Record screen.  Any name or address changes made on the Master Record screen will update the address on ALL Master Record screens for any related submissions in AIM.  

Address changes on a single submission can be done on the Submission Entry screen without affecting the Master Record.

 

To make changes to the Master Record, Click Submission | Edit | Insured or from the Master Insured tab on the Main View tab, click Edit Insured.

 

 

    or


Edit the Insured Name, Mailing or Physical Address as needed.


 

When making a change on the Master Record screen, checking the “Update the address on all other active submissions/policies for this insured” check box will also update the Submission Entry address for any related submissions in AIM.  


 

After making any changes on the Master Record, click OK, then Save.

Any address changes made on the Submission Entry screen will only affect the current submission in AIM.  The Master Record will not change on the current submission nor for any other related submissions in AIM.  

 

To change the address for only one submission in AIM:

1. Click Edit Submission from AIM Speedbar or Submission >Edit Submission from the AIM Menu.
2.Click the magnifying glass  next to the Insured Name.

3.Amend the Physical Address and/or the Mailing Address as necessary.

4.Click OK

5. Click Save.
