TABLE OF CONTENTS


AIM is organized by seven tabs located near the top of the screen. The Main tab controls what is displayed in the remaining six tabs. Meaning, the DetailCoveragesActivityNotesPolicy Data, and Accounting tabs will change based on what submission is selected in the Main tab.

 

Main Tab

The Main tab is the starting point for most activities in AIM. It displays a grid containing a listing of all submissions that match the search criteria. In addition, this screen allows quick access to a variety of data associated with the currently selected submission via twelve sub-tabs located below the table grid.

Versions

The Versions tab displays all quote versions associated with the selected submission in the main grid. Important information about the status, risk company, market company, and more is displayed. Versions are created when marketing or quoting. Individual versions have their own status.

  • BND – bound
  • BRQ – binder request sent to the market
  • DEC – declined by the market
  • QO – quoted 
  • RCV – received quote
  • SUB – submitted to the market
  • SUS – quote started

Markets

The information in the grid is the result of the submitting to market process. If a response or declination was received and recorded, the results are also displayed.

Related Subm

The Related Submission tab displays other submission records related to the selected submission. Submissions are related by the quote renewal process, the copy to new submission feature, or manually related by clicking Submission|Edit|Add To Submit Grp. Related submissions can have a different InsuredIDs/Master Insureds.

Insured

The Insured tab displays basic information about the insured. The information is read-only and can only be edited on the Master Insured screen.

Master Insured

The Master Insured tab displays the master record for the insured. The insured name and address can be edited. If applicable, claims records can be viewed.

Suspenses

The Suspenses tab displays all suspenses associated with the current submission. Suspenses can also be created, edited, extended, or completed by right-clicking in the grid.

Notes

All file notes associated with the current submission are displayed. Right-click in the grid to add a new file note or view and add to an existing one.

Expiring Policy

The Expiring Policy tab displays expiring policy information associated with the selected submission.

Attached Files

The Attached Files tab is used to display and manage attached files associated with the selected submission. Files can be copied, viewed, edited, and added.

Other Accts

All submissions with the same Insured ID/Master Insured are displayed here. This list cannot be edited.

Detail

The Detail tab displays the version detail from the selected submission. If applicable, the tax detail can also be viewed.

ImageRight File

Login with the same username and password used for logging into your computer. AIM will display the corresponding ImageRight file tree. Double-click on any file to open it in the ImageRight Browser Client.


Detail Tab

The Detail tab displays detailed information about the selected submission on the Main tab. Policy data, insured information, retail agent information, risk detail, premium information, commission, and important activity dates are easily viewable. Information on this tab is read-only.


Coverages Tab

The Coverages tab displays quote or binder information for the selected Version on the Main tab. Information is read-only. Double-click in the Subject To or Endorsements sections to display a larger window.


Activity Tab

The Activity tab displays the transaction history for the selected submission on the Main tab. Double-click on a line to view it in its entirety.

  •  = Email attachment
  •  = Document
  •  = Invoice
  •  = Activity note
  •  = Suspense

 

Notes Tab

Notes can be added to AIM submissions in the form of file notes, activity notes, and popup notes. View the Notes guide for detailed information.


Policy Data Tab

The Policy Data tab for the selected submission on the Main tab. In addition, this screen allows quick access to a variety of data associated with the currently selected submission via ten sub-tabs located below the table grid.

Endorsements

Existing endorsement records for the selected submission are displayed in this grid. Users can view, add, or edit. Right-click in the grid to view menu options.

Claims

Existing read-only claim records for the selected policy are displayed in this grid.  

Invoices

View and manage invoices for the selected submission on the Main tab. Right-click the grid to view more options. This information is also available on the Accounting tab.

Certificates

While issuing certificates of insurance is available in AIM, Regulatory & Compliance has not approved this action and asks that users request the retail agency issue any necessary or required certificates.

Reinsurance

RT does not currently utilize this feature.

Risk Detail

The Risk Detail tab displays a view of information pertaining to risks associated with the selected policy. This information is read-only.

Coverage

The Coverage tab displays a view of information pertaining to coverages associated with the selected policy. This information is read-only.

Coverage Endr

The Coverage Endorsements tab displays information pertaining to coverage endorsements associated with the selected policy. This information is read-only.

Addl Interests

View, add, edit, and assign additional interests to the selected policy.

Locations

Manage locations where property is located, such as a city, office park, or apartment complex, and associate that information with the policy. Existing locations are displayed in the grid.


Accounting Tab

On the Accounting tab, view and manage invoices for the selected policy, view payments related to the selected invoice, review payments as a whole for the policy, and view unapplied payments.

Invoices

View and manage invoices for the selected submission on the Main tab. Right-click the grid to view more options. This information is also available on the Policy Data tab.

Payments Related to Selected Invoice

This grid displays payments associated with the selected invoice. Pending payments will be listed as a comment in the Payment Description column. Filter agent payments or by company.

Payments

Review all payments applied to the policy regardless of which invoice is selected on the Invoices tab. Pending payments will be listed as a comment in the Payment Description column. Filter agent payments or by company.

Unapplied Payments

RT does not currently utilize this feature.

Assigned Contracts

RT does not currently utilize this feature.
