TABLE OF CONTENTS

Data in AIM is frequently displayed in a grid format. Similar to a spreadsheet, grids are arranged in columns and rows. The layout can be customized to fit individual needs.

Sort Grids

Click on any column heading to sort the data in ascending order.

Click the same column heading to sort in descending order.

It’s not possible to save a default sort. AIM will always show submissions alphabetically, alphanumerically, or numerically, depending on which Quick Search criteria is used.

Rearrange Columns

1. Change the order of the columns by dragging the heading to any desired position.

2. Right-click anywhere in the grid and choose Save Grid Settings

Resize Columns

1. To change the width of a column, hover over the right side the column heading until the cursor changes.

2. Click and hold the mouse to make the column heading bigger or smaller.

3. Right-click anywhere in the grid and choose Save Grid Settings.

Export Grids

All grids in AIM can be exported and saved to a user’s computer.

1. Right-click anywhere in the grid and choose Export Grid.

2. Microsoft Excel is the default export format, but it can be changed by selecting another option from the dropdown. Choose to either view the file now (View on Screen) or save the file instead (Export to File). Click Ok.

Add/Remove Columns

All grids allow columns to be added or removed. Right-click anywhere in the grid and choose Add Fields to Grid.

Remove Columns

1. To remove a column, select the column name in the Selected Fields pane and click Remove Fields.

2. Right-click anywhere in the grid and choose Save Grid Settings.

1. To add a column, click Add Fields.

2. Select the column to add and click OK. Use the ctrl key to select multiple columns.

3. By default, the new column(s) will appear at the end of the grid. It can be moved by clicking and dragging the column name to a new position in the Selected Fields pane. Click OK when finished.

4. Right-click anywhere in the grid and choose Save Grid Settings.
