TABLE OF CONTENTS
Each user can set their own personal preferences to customize their experience in AIM. Access User Preferences by selecting Edit|User Preferences from the menu bar.
User Information Tab
The information on the User Information tab will merge into certain AIM documents and should be kept up to date.
1. Update the User Name, Phone, Title, and E-mail Address.
2.Click OK to save the changes.
Defaults Tab
If any changes are made, click OK to save them. Otherwise, click Close to exit.
- Full Screen: AIM will start with the full AIM application.
- Toolbar: The AIM toolbar will show when AIM opens.
- Show Suspenses on Start-Up: Enabling this means the Suspense Listing window is shown when AIM opens.
- Use Outlook Signature: Enable this to use your Outlook Signature in email messages composed from AIM.
- Search Method: This is the default search method selected in the Quick Search pane on the Main tab.
- PhoneBook Filter: This is the default search method selected in the Category pane of the AIM Phone Book.
- Signature Block: If not using your Outlook signature, type a personal signature here.
