AIM Customizing the Toolbar

Liquid error: undefined method `name' for nil:NilClass

Toolbar buttons are used to access the commonly used functions of the AIM program. They are designed for the graphically focused user as a convenient alternative to using the menu commands. The appearance of the toolbar can be altered so each user can access those actions and modules that are most useful to them. Buttons can be added, removed, and rearranged.

Note: To return the toolbar to the system default, right-click anywhere on the toolbar and click Reset Toolbar. The next time AIM is opened, the toolbar will appear as it originally did.

1. Right-click anywhere on the toolbar and select Tool Preferences.

2. In the Categories pane, select the desired category to view available toolbar buttons. Select the button to add and drag it to the toolbar.

3. When finished, click OK.

4. Right-click anywhere on the toolbar and select Save Preferences.

1. Right-click anywhere on the toolbar and select Tool Preferences.
