AIM Declining a Submission

Liquid error: undefined method `name' for nil:NilClass

The Decline Submission feature is used when an RT broker has decided not to proceed with a submission. After declining, a template can be sent to the agent to inform them of the decision.

1. On the Main tab, highlight the submission.

2. Right-click on the submission and select Decline Submission

3. Select a Reason from the dropdown. Include any additional information in the System Note field. Click Ok to continue.

4. Click Yes to send a declination letter to the agent or click No to proceed without a notification.

5. In the Document Processing window,

  1. Edit the template as needed.
  2. Edit the ImageRight document pane as needed.
  3. To email the template from AIM, click E-Mail. Otherwise, Save and Close the window to import it into ImageRight as a PDF. Open this guide for instructions on emailing from ImageRight.
  4. If choosing not to send the template to the agent, click Discard Document.

Note: Review the Document Processing guide for more detailed explanations.

6. The submission status changes to Declined. The Activity log shows the file note and the declination template (if not discarded).
