Opening a File
NOTE: The easiest way to find a file is to search within AIM, then use F11 as a shortcut to open the file in ImageRight.
You can open a file in ImageRight in one of two ways:
- The first way is by using the Open File button on the toolbar
- The second way to open a file is from the menus (File | Open)
In the File Open window that appears, ensure the drawer (Location) is correct. Then enter the File Number (AIM submission number) or File Name (Insured name) and click Find Now.
NOTE: If you are attempting to open a file you have recently used, select Recent Files and the file will appear in this list for quick access.
Searching for Files, Folders, Documents, and Tasks
You can search for files, folders, document descriptions and tasks directly in ImageRight.
1. Click File | Open, or use the Open File shortcut on the toolbar.
2. Click the Search tab.
3. Select the item you wish to search for in the Look for drop-down menu.
4. Enter the criteria on which to search and click Find Now.
5. From the search results, select the correct file and click Open.
