Before sending a bind request to the market, ensure the agent’s order to bind has been imported into ImageRight.
Follow the steps below to send a bind request to the market.
1. On the Main tab, select the submission. Under the Versions subtab, ensure the correct version is highlighted.
2. Click Submission|Request To Bind on the AIM menu bar.

3. Edit the Submission Entry – Quote Detail – Pg.2 screen as needed. After making any necessary changes, click Bind.

4. When the Surplus Lines Tax Calculator screen opens, click Reset Taxes, Yes to confirm, and then OK to save.
5. As designated by the Surplus Lines Tax department, certain states require additional information. On the State Specific Information screen, fill in the Limits #1 field, omitting any commas, periods, or currency symbols. View this document for help determining limits. For New York policies only, select the Designated Responsible Licensed Producer from the Authorized Signatory dropdown. Click OK when complete.
6. Read the Validation Results.

- If presented with the ProExec Custom Screen error, click OK and then Cancel to exit the request to bind process. Review the ProExec Data Screens guide for detailed instruction.
- For most other errors, simply click OK to continue.
7. In the Document Processing window,
- Edit the template as needed.
- Edit the ImageRight document pane as needed.
- To import the template into ImageRight, click Save.
- If the template will not be used, click Discard Document.
- To use the template as the email message, click E-Mail.

8. Close the Document Processing window.
9. Choose whether to create a follow up suspense. Review the Suspenses guide for instructions on linking a suspense to an ImageRight document.

10. Regardless of how the request to bind was sent, ensure the email to the market is imported in ImageRight. Open this guide for instructions on emailing from ImageRight, or this guide for importing instructions.
